Sigh .....

It's gone too damn far long ago ....  :paranoid: :'(

"Big Brother IS Watching You ......"

It used to just be a neo-political slogan in a nightmare novel called "1984" ....

But with public security cameras and face recognition technology is is quite easy to track people across the street or across the city. Privacy died out with Good Manners .....

And that nightmare "1984" is still relevant ... more than ever!

"Hey, Let's ban Nature and Imprison anyone that wants to have anything to do with it. We'll start with just a few plants and take more and more away as the years go by. Oh, and it's illegal to have a garden and grow your own vegetables to eat now: It's now ruled as an unregulated food source by the latest law."

Yeah, this is really outrageous! Has it become law? I thought it was in process.

Richard M. Nixon is long dead

but his rabid hatred of plants, and people who find them medicinal, codified into unreasonable federal policy, is still being enforced and shoved down our throats by the Schoolyard Bully BIG BROTHER.

All who live to hate, like he did, are doomed to be laughed at by history - and derisive laughter and sneers and Booooooos have been flowing his way for 30 years now.

If you let people grow lots of these plants we'll put you in jail for a long long time!

A schoolyard bully intimidating innocent bystanders.

Hey, Let's ban Nature and Imprison anyone that wants to have anything to do with it. We'll start with just a few plants and take more and more away as the years go by. Oh, and it's illegal to have a garden and grow your own vegetables to eat now: It's now ruled as an unregulated food source by the latest law.

Eat the poisonous artificial dreck we make in our factories because farmer's markets are now a thing of the past. Conform or be jailed. Nazis!

Oakland, CA: Oakland City Council members voted last week to suspend plans to license and tax industrial sized medical cannabis producers. The decision came after federal officials stated that the Justice Department would likely pursue criminal or civil litigation against local marijuana growers as well as Oakland city officials if they moved forward with their licensing plans.

Oakland City Attorney John Russo had also issued a legal opinion saying the plan violated the state's medical marijuana laws and could place council members in legal jeopardy.

Council members voted 7 to 1 to withdraw the licensing ordinance but may revisit the issue later this year.
